MAIN REQUIREMENT
This type of visa is granted to retired or pensioned foreign citizens from any country or private enterprise, who wish to permanently reside in Panama. The minimum monthly life pension amount required is US$1,000.00. However, if the retired or pensioned petitioner can prove that he/she has bought a property in his/her name in the Republic of Panama in the amount of US$100,000.00 or above, the minimum pension amount required is US$750.00. If the petitioner is bringing with him dependents his/her life pension must be US$250.00 above the US$1,000.00 for each of his/her dependents.
Petitioner must bring the following documents:
1. Resolution or related document certifying that you are retirees or pensioners and consequently, you receive a life pension of US$1,000.00 for ever.
2. National Police Record of the origin country certifying that you have never committed felony or crime (Petitioner and dependents of legal age); In case of the USA citizens the FBI record without infraction is required.
3. Marriage or Birth certificate (dependents).
All documents must come duly authenticated with the Seal of “Apostille Stamp” issued by the Secretary of State Office of the state that issues the document or through the Panamanian Consulate.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
(Can be obtain while in Panama)
1. Good Health certificate (Petitioner and dependent) issue at least three months before the visa request presentation, this must be obtained in the Republic of Panama;
2. Copy of the entire passport which must have validity of six months.(Petitioner and dependents) duly authenticated by a notary (Our office takes care of it);
3. Five (5) carne size pictures (Petitioner and dependents);
4. Affidavit duly signed by the applicant and dependent (of legal age). (Form is provided by our office).
5. Letter of responsibility from the applicant for his/her dependents (Provided by our office).
